On X a fan suggested the movie to those who enjoy thrillers and horror, writing #Shaitaan- A highly engaging Seat Edge Thriller. For fans of thrillers.

What a wonderful performance by R. Madhvan. Another admirer advised watching the trailer before seeing the movie, nothing, the suspenseful thriller #Shaitaan will have you gripped from start to finish. There is hardly ever a dull moment in the movie because of the tense situations that are made. Janki and Maddy are amazing. If you haven’t seen the trailer already, do not. The suspenseful thriller #Shaitaan will have you go on the edge of your seat. There is hardly a dull moment in the movie thanks to the creators for such a thrilling movie.

Another person felt that although the plot was very interesting, the conclusion was disappointing. Excellent first half, with a second half that was above average. Climax in template format is a disappointment. Despite the plot taking place in a single location, the screenplay was incredibly captivating. #Madhvan gave a fantastic performance as the villain. Very well cone, AjayDevgan, Jyothika and the children. Good BGM and graphics. Overall, their writing is a good, suspense thriller.

Nevertheless, a different fab disagreed, stating that the climax was compelling and stated that “I was about to be killed by heart attack by not nay other than #Superstar @ajaydevgan as I believed he became #Shaitaan himself,” but he saved me toward the end because he is a hero and I emerged grinning broadly.” A moviegoer believed that the movie had potential and that the producers could have done a better job of enhancing the scary aspects, writing, #Shaitaan Review: The movie had a lot of potential, but it was really toned down and horrifying. (To keep the movie U/A, they lessened the horror) @imjankibodiwala & @ActorMadhvan Bravo for an eerie performance. The struggle of Black Magic and the family to escape it made up for the poor action in the climax.
