Tech Desk – WhatsApp is working on several new features to make the platform more user-friendly. It recently introduced features such as Silence Unknown Callers, edit messages, and more.
Now, WhatsApp is working on a feature called “message pin duration.” reported by WaBetaInfo. With the help of this feature, users select the duration for which messages will remain pinned within chats.
This will help users to have the flexibility to select a specific time period and can control managing their pinned messages within WhatsApp chats.
According to the report, the message pin duration feature provides users with 3 duration options – 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. Users can opt for any option based on their needs.
It also gives flexibility to manually unpin messages at any time. It is currently under development and is expected to be available to beta testers.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp recently released a feature called “Silence Unknown Callers” to protect users from spam calls. This feature helps the user to control incoming calls and filter out spam, scams and calls from unfamiliar individuals.
