New Delhi: Selling the same product, repeating the same lies and playing the communal card again and again are not going to give benefits to a political party for a long time, said Rajya Sabha MP on Monday.
This was the outcome of the Karnataka assembly election, he said.
He recently launched a non-political platform “Insaaf” to fight injustice. Legal aid is given through the forum to those who cannot afford it.
“Lesson from Karnataka outcome: You can’t: sell the same product, repeat the same lies, spew venom, vilify the past, align with a corrupt government and call others corrupt, play the communal card all the time!,” Sibal said.
Former Union Minister appealed to the Congress to win people’s hearts for the next five years and remain honest.
Sibal quit the Congress in May last year. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha as an independent candidate with the support of the Samajwadi Party.
