Khandwa: Traffic issues continue to haunt the residents of Khandwa. On Monday, when the residents left for their work, they got stuck in the jam. There was a four-hour-long jam in the Rameshwar flyover. There was a vehicular movement from Anand Nagar Polytechnic College to Badabam and on the other side to Shivaji Park.
Actually, the closure of the Lalchowki gate on the Khandwa-Indore broad gauge railway line was a disaster. The tracks are being changed by the Railways. Because of this, the entire traffic came to a standstill in the area.
Here, there was a long traffic jam from all three sides, people had to suffer. The jam which started at 11 am continued till 1.30 pm, the passenger buses kept waiting for an hour. At the same time, 5 ambulance vehicles also got stuck in the jam. In one ambulance, there was a dead body and in the other, a pregnant woman who was suffering from extreme pain. The rest of the ambulances were empty, and due to the jam, the common people had to face a lot of problems.
