NationalSnake in train causes panic, T-N Express stopped for hour

Date:

Kozhikode (Kerala): A snake sneaked into one of the compartments of the Thiruvananthapuram-Nizamuddin Express and caused panic among passengers on Wednesday night, sources said on Thursday. When some passengers spotted the snake and informed the ticket checker about it, they stopped the train for more than an hour to search for the reptile. But it was not found anywhere. Sources said that the passengers found it beneath a lower berth in S5 compartment of the train.

As the passengers came to know about it, they were shocked, said agencies. As a result of panic, all passengers of the compartment where the snake was detected got off the train. Two snake catchers arranged by the forest department made a thorough search of the train.
