Virat Kholi’s performance was the only saving grace amidst India’s disastrous performance at Adelaide Oval on Thursday. Other top batters in the shortest format of the game are Indian skipper Rohit Sharma (3, 853), New Zealand opening veteran Martin Guptill (3, 531), Pakistan skipper Babar Azam (3,323) and Ireland opener Paul Stirling (3,181).

In the semi-final match, India scored 168/6 in their 20 overs. Hardik Pandya scored 63 off 33 balls and Virat Kohli (50). Nevertheless, England scored 170 without losing any wicket and with 20 balls to spare. They defeated India by ten wickets and reached the final to play against Pakistan.

England bowler Chris Jordan took three wickets by conceding 43 runs. Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid took one wicket each.
