From 15 August 2021 i.e. Indian Independence Day, the restaurants in Maharashtra have been reopened fully. The government has insisted that restaurant owners must follow certain rules and regulations in COVID-19 times. One rule is that all the staff are fully vaccinated and have completed 14 days after the second vaccination. This will help to reduce the spread of coronavirus disease. However, if you plan to visit a restaurant in these pandemic times, then remember not all follow rules as mentioned on paper, and also not all states have made these rules mandatory. So, here are some tips to ensure you enjoy a safe and pleasant dining experience.

1) Ensure that first you are fully vaccinated with both doses of the coronavirus vaccine and wait for at least 14 days before booking your dinner or lunch reservations. Your vaccine is a safety shield that can keep you safe from the different variants of the coronavirus.
2) Do check in the restaurant that is following all COVID-19 protocols such as wearing masks, carrying sanitizer, disinfecting places, keeping the place hygienic, maintaining social distancing, etc.

3) Open-air restaurants or tables placed at least six feet apart should be preferred by you. Till the food gets served on the table, make sure to wear the mask and before entering and after exiting, make sure that you keep your distance from people and waiters.
4) Carry your personal sanitizer and also while you use the restroom, make sure to sanitize the toilet seat. Also while you return back to the table, apply sanitizer on your hands as you have touched the doorknob of the restroom.
5) Do not get into any restaurant. Before checking in, make sure to read the reviews and ratings of the hotel on the internet. You can request the waiters to make your table clean before you leave and ask for extra support if you need it in terms of making your dining experience safe for you and all.
