Riyadh: The doors of Masjid-e-Nabawi were gradually opened for worshipers in Madinah from Sunday Fajr today. According to Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the head of affairs at the Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi, the development comes in the light of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. Everyone who enters the Prophet’s Mosque will be examined.
It may be recalled that the General Presidency of the Affairs of the Holy Mosque has implemented a package of security precautions. This includes ensuring social distance between the worshipers, thorough disinfection operations on a daily basis, precautionary inspection of all workers and employees inside Haram Mukki and Haram Madani and implementation of many other projects.
Similarly, special thermal cameras have been installed at various entrances and entrances of the Masjid Haram to automatically monitor human temperature. These cameras will work around the clock. The cameras will be monitored by medical personnel assigned by the Ministry of Health.
It is to be noted that the presence of people in the courtyards of Haram Madani and the series of prayers were stopped from March 20 as a precautionary measure and precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Corona virus.
