Now more exemption has been given by Arvind Kejriwal government of the state.

Despite this, the lockdown for two consecutive months has affected the economy of Delhi. The Arvind Kejriwal government says that the treasury of the government is empty. This is the reason that Delhi CM Manish Sisodia said on Sunday that the state government does not have money to pay salaries to employees.

Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi government has to pay Rs 3500 crore per month as salary, but the government has only Rs 1725 crore. Therefore, he wrote a letter to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman asking for Rs 5000 crore from the central government.
