Bill approved in the House of Representatives regarding Hong Kong policy
Washington: The US House of Representatives approved new sanctions against China on Thursday (July 2) over the Hong Kong policy. Let us know that China has recently approved the National Security Act regarding Hong Kong, which has been condemned by many countries including America and Britain. This law has also been implemented here.
In the meeting of the House of Representatives, unanimous pass restrictions provide for punishing banks doing business with Chinese authorities. Meanwhile, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi stated, “This law is a cruel and comprehensive action against the people of Hong Kong aimed at destroying the freedoms that were promised.”
The proposal would have to be approved by the Senate before it could be sent to President Donald Trump. Critics point out that Chinese law, during the end of British rule in 1997, also abolished the guarantee of giving people freedom for the next 50 years.
