I am an extremely introverted person who has a freelance job in writing. Prior to my clarity in career to choose for a freelance job, I worked in several organizations in their contractual/full-time projects that took up a lot of time of my life’s 10 years. The first job I took up was into digital media and since then, I am being a part of companies that work for digital websites and social media campaigns.

This 2020 coronavirus pandemic is actually when I decided to slow down completely rather than search for another project on a full-time basis. It is self-realization I could make after I analyzed my SWOT. It was during my conversations with my mom is when she asked me how many accounts do you hold in digital life? I was confused as I didn’t have a clear answer and then I went on to create a record of my Gmail accounts, social media accounts, mobile numbers, WhatsApp accounts, other website subscriptions among others. When the whole page of the book got completed, I was surprised as I never expected to be a part of the digital boom in such a manner.

I then quickly made a list of which accounts do I need in digital media and which can be deleted to avoid confusion and clutter in my digital life. I wanted things to be easier to use and get to if searching for a particularly important thing. Just like how we don’t like clutter in our home, the same way I decided to empty the mailbox with all the unnecessary stuff and even empty the trash box without waiting for a period of 30 days.
It was when I minimalized my digital accounts, that’s when I understood how easy and simple life can be if we talk to one school friend of ours on one day of a week rather than having a chatbox open for four unknown friends being dealt with simultaneously.
