Ranchi: Operation Lotus seems to have begun in Jharkhand. After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lost power in Bihar, it is out to topple the Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government. The Election Commission has sent its response to the Jharkhand Raj Bhawan on Soren’s office of profit case. According to sources, a letter comprising the Election Commission’s opinion was dashed off on Tuesday. A committee comprising the officials of the Election Commission concluded the hearing in the case on Monday. The BJP accused him of issuing a mining lease to his name and sought his disqualification as a member of House.
