New Delhi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval visited Seelampur and Maujpur in violence-hit North East Delhi. Earlier, he held a meeting with top officials at Seelampur DCP office. Several top officials including Delhi Police Special Commissioner SN Srivastava were present in the meeting.
After the meeting, Ajit Doval met the local citizens there. Talking to a woman, he said, ‘Keep the feeling of love. We have a country, we all have to live together. The country has to move forward together.
During this time, the people present there said, ‘We have no tension in spite of you, you have come, we have got courage.’ Doval said during this time that the situation is completely under control. Talking to people, he said that if there is any problem, then tell us. Here the entire force is deployed for you.
Ajit Doval said that we have reached here only on the orders of the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. There is no need for you to worry anymore. He said that I roamed the whole area. People want unity, people want peace.
