New Delhi: Amid the nationwide citizenship dispute over CAA, NRC and NPR, Home Minister Amit Shah has clarified that no documents of any kind will be sought in NPR. No one will be made suspicious in the survey related to this process. On Thursday, he said these things during the discussion in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Parliament.
According to him, “No one needs to fear NPR. Hate speeches started after the CAA came in, Muslims are being misled. “
Regarding the Delhi violence, he said, “More than 700 FIRs have been registered. Rapid action is being taken. Money from abroad was distributed in Delhi for the riots. Five people have also been arrested by the police. “
The Home Minister said, “Details of people identified are available with us. More than 40 special teams have been formed to capture them. Instead of using Aadhaar data, we have used voter ID cards and DLs to identify rioters. ”
Regarding those who attacked two policemen, including ‘martyr’ head constable Ratan Lal during the violence, Shah said – those who attacked police officers have been arrested. More than 2600 people have been arrested so far.
