Lucknow: Akash Manjhi, son of a former minister of Uttar Pradesh during the Samajwadi Party (SP) rule Sankhlal Manjhi, sustained bullet injuries at his residence in Lucknow on Sunday, sources said on Sunday. The incident occurred when he was cleaning the revolver issued to his father. The 22-year-old Akash was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, said deputy commissioner of Lucknow Prachi Singh.

The doctors attending on him said that his condition was critical as the bullet hit his chest.
