Bareilly (UP): The police registered a case against five persons for abducting and liquidating a 22-year-old man who had an affair with a 19-year-old girl of a different community, the police said on Sunday. The youth Sunil Kumar went missing from Friday evening and his family members found his body hanging from a tree on Saturday. According to the police, a few obscene pictures of the girl, with whom the youth had an affair, went viral on social media, because of which her family members may have been angry with the youth and polished him off.
In an audio, shared by an unidentified person from Sunil Kumar’s mobile phone, the youth was heard begging for life. An FIR was registered against the girl’s kin including her brothers. According to additional superintendent of police Raj Kumar Agarwal, all the culprits have been booked.
