Bhadohi (UP): A 59-year-old sub-inspector of Uttar Pradesh Police died in a road accident on Wednesday, when an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle in Bhadohi district of the state, official sources said.
According to Bhadohi circle officer Ram Lakhan Mishra, the sub-inspector Chunnu Ram posted in Koirauna police station was travelling to Sonbhadra for some official work. The unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle near Kothra overbridge. He died on the spot. A resident of Ghazipur, Chunnu Ram, elevated to the post of sub-inspector only two days ago, was to retire in December. The police have begun to search for the vehicle.
