Three in critical condition after gas leak at paper mill in Chhattisgarh

Raigad: After Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, a case of gas leak has come up in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The Superintendent of Police of Raigarh has informed that a gas leak occurred while cleaning a paper mill tank, due to which 7 employees had to be admitted to the hospital. The condition of 3 of them is critical.

Earlier on Thursday, 11 people died due to a gas leak from a plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Hundreds of people have been affected due to leakage of stearin gas from LG Polymers Limited’s plant located at Venkatapuram village under Gopalapatnam near Visakhapatnam. At least 246 people are undergoing treatment at King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam and 20 of them are on ventilators.
