Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that special vigilance is required for effective control over the infection of Covid-19. He directed to arrange 25,000 additional beds in L-1, L-2 and L-3 Covid hospitals by May 20, 2020, and said that it should be ensured that by the end of the month, 01 lakh beds are available in Covid hospitals. .

The Chief Minister was holding a high level review meeting convened at his government residence here today. He said that along with effective control over medical infection, it is also necessary to ensure that the spread of infection through the mandis does not occur in any case. A large number of migrant workers will also come to the state from outside in the next 10 days. Therefore, with special caution and vigilance at every level, work should be done with full accountability.

The Chief Minister directed for better management of cleanliness in the Quarantine Center. He said that community kitchen system should be made more effective and strengthened. Ration kits should be provided to migrant workers sent home for home quarantine. Along with ration kit, destitute people should also be given a maintenance allowance of one thousand rupees.

The Chief Minister gave instructions that it should be ensured that no one travels by foot or bicycle or bike etc. Wherever such people are found, they should stop there and enter their full details such as name, address etc. After medical checkup, arrangements should be made to send them to their district. It should be ensured that such people must undergo a health check-up at the Quarantine Center. He instructed the migrant workers to be treated with respect at all levels.
