Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and surrounding areas on Friday. The earthquake measured 4.6 on the Richter scale. Feeling the tremors of the earthquake, people came out of their homes. The tremors were felt at around 9:08 pm. Tremors were felt in NCR region Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram. Its effects were also seen in Haryana and Punjab.

The epicenter of the earthquake has been reported to Rohtak in Haryana. Significantly, the lockdown has been implemented in the country since March 25 due to the corona virus epidemic, since then the tremor has been felt twice in the country’s capital and its surrounding areas. No information has been reported regarding loss of life and property due to the earthquake.

According to experts, if the intensity of the earthquake was 5 or more on the scale scale, a lot of damage could have occurred. This is the fourth time in last one month that earthquake tremors have been felt in and around Delhi.
