Lucknow: The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has ordered an SIT probe in the Kanpur shootout case. Meanwhile, on Sunday (July 12), a team of Special Investigation Team (SIT) reached Vikas Dubey’s village (Bikaru village). Explain that 6 people, including the main accused Vikas Dubey, have been killed by the police in the alleged encounter so far. More than 10 people have been arrested under different sections. Even now many accused have not come to the police.
On Saturday, the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh formed a SIT headed by Additional Chief Secretary Sanjay Bhusreddy to investigate into the matter. The Yogi government has asked this team to submit the investigation report by 31 July. In this regard, Additional Chief Secretary (Home and Information) Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the state government has decided to investigate the matter with special research team in connection with the incident in Kanpur city.
