With International Yoga Day finally here this year, who better to have a conversation about it than with arguably the most famous Indian celebrity practicing it, Shilpa Shetty, who’s yoga videos and social-media posts on the workout form have a global following. Shilpa’s fitness and beauty even at the age of 45 is something to be marvelled at, and she credits it all to yoga. So, as a special Yoga Day treat, Shilpa Shetty revealed exclusively to BollywoodLife how the ancient Indian exercise technique is responsible for balancing her body and mind, building core strength and rendering a more fortified central base for her.

Opening up about the impact yoga has had on both her body and mind, Shilpa Shetty said, “It is about balancing — body balance, building core strength and fostering mental calmness. It proves beneficial in strengthening your body, your mind and bones. The alignment of these three aspects render a far more centered, energetic and stronger mental and physical health..”
