Jio to stop its cheapest prepaid plan priced at Rs 98

Telecom company Reliance Jio has decided to discontinue its cheapest prepaid plan, which was priced at Rs. 98.

The Rs. 98 pack provided higher SMS limit but now has been removed from the recharge options for its prepaid users.

The move makes Rs. 129 plan the cheapest plan offered by the company, which comes with a 28-day validity.

Earlier, the Rs. 98 plan had offered 2GB high-speed data, Jio to Jio and landline calling benefits with 300 SMS per day.

Now as the Rs. 98 plan is no longer visible on the Jio website, prepaid users can get the best benefits of Rs. 129 plan, which is the current budget-friendly prepaid plan.

The Rs. 129 plan comes with 28 days of validity, 2 GB of total data, unlimited Jio to Jio calls, 1,000 minutes of non-Jio calls and free subscription of Jio apps.
