The company launched some new smartphones throughout the year and was generally one of the smartphone industry’s busier players. Now, new reports suggest things will remain the same in 2021 as well.

The company is now tipped to launch one of its most awaited devices, the Poco F2. Till now, the company has not said anything about the device, but it now appears that the launch date of the Poco F2 could be closer than ever as the company has teased the phone with a new tweet.

In a new teaser, the company teased the device’s arrival by looking back at all that it achieved through 2020. Listing its achievements where it sold over 1,000,000 Poco phones last year and getting ranked number 4 in the list of online smartphone brands in India, the company hinted at how it aims for bigger and better things this year. Interestingly, it did not just stop there and in the tweet also teased a new phone, the Poco F2, by thanking fans for waiting for the F2.

This serves as our biggest hint till now that the Poco F2 is just around the corner and could be one of the first POCO phones to launch in India in 2021. While there is no official information about the device yet, there have been a few leaks about the device, revealing critical information about the upcoming Poco device. 

As per reports, the specs of the Poco F2 have been leaked via an unofficial Xiaomi Telegram group where critical specs of the device have been shared. Unlike the Poco F1, an affordable flagship phone powered by a flagship Snapdragon chipset, the new leak suggests that the Poco F2 will be a mid-range phone.

As per the leak, the Poco F2 will bear a model number K9A, and it will be codenamed, Courbet. The device will sport an AMOLED screen capable of running at a refresh rate of 120Hz. Other details of the device include a 4,250mAh battery with support for reverse charging.
