Lucknow: Corona cases are increasing in Uttar Pradesh. A record 24 deaths have been recorded in the state today. In Uttar Pradesh, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection has increased to 345 while the number of infection cases has crossed 12 thousand.
Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that so far 345 people have died from Corona. 15079 sample tests were conducted in the state yesterday. So far, more than 4 lakh 11 thousand samples have been tested in various laboratories in the state. In the last 24 hours, 480 new cases have been reported in the state, the total number of active cases is 4451. So far 7292 people have returned to their homes after recovering completely.
Amit Mohan Prasad said that yesterday 1248 pools of 5-5 samples were planted out of which 164 pools were found positive. 84 pools of 10-10 samples were put out of which 7 pools were found to have positivity. Asha workers have so far tracked 15,13,585 workers. Surveillance work is going on continuously so far, 88,07,958 houses have been serviced in which 4,48,00,429 people live.
