New Delhi: The Jama Masjid has been closed in view of the ever-increasing infection of the Corona virus in Delhi, the capital of the country and will no longer offer prayers in public till June 30. Remember that on June 8, permission was granted to open religious places across the country, after which Jama Masjid was opened after about two and a half months.

The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmed Bukhari, said on Thursday, “After taking public opinion and consulting the experts, it has been decided that no mass prayers will be held in Jama Masjid from today to June 30”.

The Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmed Bukhari, said that in view of the deteriorating situation in Delhi due to the global epidemic of Kovid-19, people were asked for opinion on the closure of Jama. People gave their opinion on the closure of Jama Masjid through social media and other means, after which it has been decided to close the public namaz.
