New Delhi: Every corona positive person in Delhi will have to stay in a quarantine center for five days. Delhi’s Deputy Governor Anil Baijal has issued an order in this regard.
Deputy Governor Anil Baijal has issued the order as the chairman of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority. It has been said in the order that every corona-positive person must compulsorily stay in the quarantine center for five days. Only then a person will be sent to home isolation. But if there are symptoms, then it will be sent to the quarantine center or hospital accordingly.
It has been said in the order that under the supervision of the District Magistrate, the team of District Surveillance Officers will carry out physical verification of every person with home isolation. The services of the company which was outsourced by the Delhi government to advise patients living in home isolation over the phone, are terminated with immediate effect.
The Lieutenant Governor has written in his order that ‘corona is spreading in Delhi due to monitoring of patients living in home isolation without any physical contact. This can also be a reason. The inevitable need for physical verification of every case has been felt.
