Corona outbreak increase in India, 96551 new cases found in 24 hours

New Delhi: Despite millions of efforts of the Central and State Governments, the outbreak does not seem to stop. Meanwhile, 96551 new cases of corona have been reported in the country during last 24 hours, which is the highest number of cases reported in a day. This information has been provided by the Union Ministry of Health.

According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, there have been more than 4.5 million cases of corona in the country. In the last 24 hours 1209 patients have died. So far 45,62,415 cases have been reported, of which 9,43,480 are active cases and 35,42,664 lakh have been cured, who have been discharged from hospitals. At the same time, 76271 patients have died.

The Union Health Ministry has underlined that timely diagnosis through high-level nationwide screening of covid-19 has provided a better opportunity for sending infected patients to different habitats for treatment and hospitalization. Of the total patients still infected by the corona virus in the country, 74 percent are in the nine states most affected by covid-19 while 69 percent of the total deaths so far occurred in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.
