New Delhi: The outbreak of Corona virus epidemic continues and the number of active patients in the country has risen to 7,88,223, with 46,393 active cases increasing during the last 24 hours.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday morning, 96,982 new cases were registered in the country. After this, the total number of infected has increased to one crore 26 lakh 86 thousand 049. At the same time, 50,143 patients have become healthy during this period, in which 1,17,32,279 patients have been coronated. The number of active cases has increased from 46,393 to 7,88,223. During the same period, the death toll from the disease has increased to 1,65,547 with 446 more patients dying.
The recovery rate in the country has come down partially to 92.48 percent and the rate of active cases has increased to 6.21 percent while the death rate has come down to 1.30 percent. Maharashtra tops the corona’s active cases and the state has increased by 20,881 to 452777 active cases during the last 24 hours. During this period, 26252 more patients became healthy in the state, taking the number of those who beat Corona to 2549075, while the death toll of 155 more patients has increased to 56033.
