New Delhi: Corona outbreak is becoming deadly with every day. Most people have died due to corona in the country in the last 24 hours.
According to data released on Saturday morning by the Union Health Ministry, 4,01,078 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours while 4,187 people have died. With this, the total number of infected in the country has gone up to 2 crore 18 lakh 92 thousand 676 and the total number of dead has increased to 2 lakh 38 thousand 270. The number of active patients of Corona has increased to 37 lakh 23 thousand 446 in the country.
This is the third consecutive day when more than 4 lakh cases of corona infection have been reported in the country. Earlier, 414188 new cases were registered on Friday and 4,12,262 new cases were registered on Thursday. So far, a total of one crore 79 lakh 30 thousand 960 people have been cured from the infection of this dangerous virus.
In the last 24 hours, about 23 lakh people in the country were vaccinated with Corona. According to the ministry, 16,73,46,544 people have been vaccinated against the Covid-19 vaccine so far.
