Lucknow: 281 patients died of corona virus infection in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, while 12,547 new cases of infection have been reported. Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal told reporters on Saturday that the rate of infection in the state has been steadily decreasing.
He said that in the last 24 hours, 12,547 new cases have come up in the state, while 38 thousand new cases were reported on 30th April. On Saturday, the number increased to 1,77,643 on Saturday, compared to about 3.10 lakh remedial cases. According to Sehgal, after the death of 281 patients in the state in last 24 hours, the number of deaths due to infection has increased to 17,238 so far. After the arrival of 12,547 new cases, the number of people still infected in the state has increased to 16,09,140.
