Mumbai: In the midst of the Corona crisis, black fungus has now emerged as a new problem and the matter is becoming serious in many states of the country. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that about 90 people have died in the state so far due to black fungus.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope, who was badly battered by Corona, said on Wednesday that a large number of people in the state are getting infected with Mucormycosis (black fungus) and so far around 90 people have died due to this. He said that around 1,500 people in the state are infected by it. We have demanded from the Center to provide ampho-B injection soon.

Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that there were about 1,500 cases of black fungus in the state. In Pune alone, there were 270 cases of Mucormycosis. While the situation is worse in the neighboring state of Gujarat. Only in Surat 8 people have lost their sight due to black fungus. Whereas in Gujarat, a total of 40 patients lost their eyesight. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan government has declared it an epidemic in view of the danger of black fungus.
