Lucknow. According to government data in Uttar Pradesh, 226 more patients died of corona virus infection on Saturday, while 6,046 new cases have been reported. Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad gave this information in the daily briefing on Saturday.
He said that on April 24, the state had the highest number of 38,055 cases and compared to that today only 6,046 cases were registered, which is 84.02 percent less. After the death of 226 more patients in the state in the last 24 hours, the number of people who died of corona infection so far has increased to 18,978, while the total number of infected people has increased to 16,65,176 after receiving 6,046 new cases.
He claimed that the percentage of patients recovering from corona infection has now risen to 93.02 percent. The senior official said that there has been a decrease in the number of under-treated patients in the last 22 days. At present, 94,482 patients are under treatment in the state, which is 69.06 percent less as compared to 3,10,783 active cases as on April 30.
