New Delhi: India is currently in the second stage of corona virus. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Stage-2 means that the community transmission of the virus has not yet (not spread among people). Currently more than 100 countries are affected by the corona virus. About 7,000 people have lost their lives with this virus. In India more than 145 people are infected with it and 3 people have died so far. India is trying not to reach the stage 3 of the corona virus.

ICMR Director General Balram Bhargava said on Tuesday, “We are in the second phase of the corona virus. We have not reached the third phase yet. The third phase is community transmission, we are hoping that this situation should not come.” He said, “It depends on how promptly we close our international border, that is why the government has taken very active steps, but we cannot say that there will be no community transmission.” “

Know about the four stages of the epidemic

Stage 1: In this case infection cases come from countries affected by the virus. In this, the same people are found infected who have traveled abroad.

Stage 2: When the disease spreads from infected people to local people. For example, when a virus visits or returns to the affected country and comes in contact with their relatives or friends, they also become infected.

In this situation very few people are affected in local transmission. In this case, the source of the virus is known and can be easily traced.

Stage 3: When the virus reaches the community transmission, a large area is affected. In this stage, the disease will spread from infected people inside India to other people here. This is a very dangerous situation. At this stage, people found positive in the test do not know where the virus came from. Italy and Spain are still in this stage.

Stage 4: This is the most frightening situation when the disease takes the form of an epidemic and it is not clear when it will end. This has happened in China.
