Rajasthan politics: BJP said – never demanded about floor test

New Delhi: In connection with the phone tapping allegations after two audio clips related to the alleged conspiracy to topple the Rajasthan government, BJP leader Gulabchand Kataria has said that the government has the authority to tap the phone but its permission from the Home Department should be. No private person is authorized to tap the phone. This work is done by a person named Lokesh Sharma, who describes himself as the OSD of the Chief Minister. He is not authorized, he violated the law. Kataria has been the state’s home minister in the previous Vasundhara government.

Gulabchand Kataria further said that the BJP never demanded a floor test, still did not. We are watching their fight. When the time is right and we have to do something, we will discuss and move in that direction. Till now we are being unnecessarily dragged into this matter.

In fact, in the case of phone tapping, the central government on Saturday sought a report from the chief secretary of the state. In a letter sent by the Home Ministry, the Chief Secretary of Rajasthan has been asked to send a report about the allegations of phone tapping.
