Total shutdown risk bothering travel agents in Andhra Pradesh

Coronavirus scare is affecting travel and tourism business very badly since the beginning.

As per a report, travel agents of Andhra Pradesh have suffered a huge revenue loss of over Rs. 2000 crore due to the coronavirus outbreak.

They are of the opinion that it may take more than a year’s time to get back to normal business.

Thus, they are seeking some government help and support to rescue the travel sector.

Travel and tourism is going through bankruptcies, closure of businesses, and mass unemployment.

A support fund should be provided to the industry in order to atleast provide basic salaries to affected tourism workers and employers.
