Ayodhya to boost spiritual tourism in India

5 August 2020 is the remarkable day in the Indian history as Prime Minister Narendra Modi did Bhoomi Pujan for the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Ayodhya, which is said to be Lord Ram’s birthplace has got its Ram back now after so many and many years.

Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel is of the view that the foundation stone of the temple will help improve religious tourism in the country.

As Ayodhya has many temples and holds an important belief in people’s faith and spirituality, Patel think that the travel and tourism sector will emerge stronger now.

In the current economic scenario, Ministry of Tourism also has a hope in supporting millions of followers of all great world religions that have deep roots in India.

Ram katha gallery and park, Ram ki paidi, development of Guptarghat and Laxman qila ghat, rejuvenation of Ayodhya street, multipurpose hall at Digambarakhada are also a part of the Ram Temple project and thus, will be developed soon.
