No alliance with any party in UP assembly elections: Mayawati

Lucknow: BSP supremo and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has announced to contest the upcoming assembly elections on her own. In a press conference held on Kanshi Ram’s birthday, Mayawati said that the party will not tie up with anyone this time. Mayawati has said that the BSP is the only party that is moving forward with Kanshi Ram’s objective.

In the press conference, Mayawati said that assembly elections are going on in many states of the country, our party is fighting elections in Kerala, West Bengal, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu on its own. Our party will not form an alliance with any party in these four states. “Mayawati targeted the Center over the peasant movement. She said,” When the farmers of the country do not agree with the agricultural laws, then why does the central government not repeal these laws. The families of the farmers who have died in this movement should be given proper financial support to the central and state governments and a government job to a member of the family. “

Mayawati has said about the alliance that when we do alliance, we are at a disadvantage. Our vote goes to someone else. However, we do not get the votes of other parties. Therefore, BSP will contest all the 403 assembly seats of UP alone. Significantly, in the last Lok Sabha elections, Mayawati contested the alliance with Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party (SP).
