New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has strongly condemned the political violence going on in West Bengal after the West Bengal assembly election results. Describing it as malicious and pre-planned, Mamta Banerjee’s government has demanded immediate action.
In a statement issued by RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said, “We urge the newly elected state government that its top priority should be to end the ongoing violence in the state and establish rule of law immediately, arrest the culprits and ensure strict action.”
He said, “Necessary steps should be taken for rehabilitation by instilling confidence and a sense of security among the victims of violence. We also urge the central government to take all possible steps necessary to maintain peace in Bengal and ensure that the state government also takes action in this direction.
