Modi govt must call all party meeting on Corona situation: Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi: On the rising cases of corona infection in the country and the poor medical system, the interim president of Congress, Sonia Gandhi, has attacked the Modi government and demanded an all-party meeting with the central government. She also requested the Standing Committee to keep an eye on the worsening situation in Corona.

In a virtual meeting with Congress Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha MPs through video conferencing, Sonia Gandhi said that the situation is getting worse with Corona in the country. To overcome this, the government should adopt a solid strategy. Sonia Gandhi said that the system has not failed but the Modi government has proved inefficient. The central government did not use resources and power properly. Questioning Modi’s leadership, Sonia said that the country has got a political leadership that has no sympathy with the people.

Regarding some state governments ruled by BJP, Sonia Gandhi said that instead of providing help to the people, they are taking action against those who help. People are stopping people from writing the truth on social media platforms. Sonia Gandhi demanded to call an all-party meeting immediately.

Emphasizing the need to provide help to the people in Congress ruled states, he said that we have to fight with greater efficiency and readiness. This is not our government versus our fight. This is a battle of ours vs Corona. Everyone has to fight in unison. Sonia Gandhi also appreciated the contribution of the Youth Congress.
