1) Before leaving your home, make sure to wear your mask properly and also carry a sanitizer in your bag or purse. You can also carry an alternate mask in case you plan to spend more hours shopping outside.
2) Once you take a rick or bus, make sure to sanitize your hands properly as the public transport might have been used by a lot of people throughout the day and thus, it is always safe to keep your hands sanitized when you sit in the bus or rick or cab on your way to the shop.

3) Avoid eating from outside even if you are tempted to. Yes, shops and restaurants are open and it becomes more tempting to try out the sweet dishes and the chaat counters or your favorite pav bhaji in your preferred hotel, but AVOID! There is a reason behind doing this act as it is always safe to consume food made at home during these tough times than eat outside at public places with unwashed hands.
4) Once you reach the shop and you find there is a lot of crowds in the shop that you want to enter, you wait for some time outside till the crowd reduces. It is always better to distance ourselves and stay away from crowded shops.
5) Once you are back home, do not touch the shopped items but instead go directly to the washroom, wash your hands, get your clothes washed, and take a short bath with soap water. It is always good to stay hygienic and be safe.
