Congress General Secretary’s reply on the notice of Uttar Pradesh Child Rights Panel
New Delhi: Politics on the Kanpur Shelter Home case is increasing. Uttar Pradesh Child Protection Commission sent notice to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in this matter, now on Friday morning Priyanka Gandhi has responded to this. Priyanka said that she is the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi, there is no unannounced BJP spokesperson.
Priyanka Gandhi tweeted on Friday that as a servant of the public, my duty is to the people of UP, and that duty is to put the truth before them. No government propaganda is to be put forward. The UP government is wasting its time by threatening me with its other departments. Do whatever you want to do, of course. I will keep the truth in front. I am the granddaughter of Indira Gandhi, not an undisclosed spokesperson of the BJP like some opposition leaders.
The Uttar Pradesh Child Rights Protection Commission has sent a notice to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi asking them to refute the comments made on Facebook about the girl child house in Kanpur within three days. Also, it has been warned that if not denied in time, appropriate action will be taken under Section 14 and 15 along with sub-section-1 (j) of Section-13 of the Protection of Child Rights Commission Act, 2005.
This week, Priyanka Gandhi repeatedly attacked the Uttar Pradesh government over the “high” Covid-19 mortality rate in Agra and on other issues related to the state government’s handling of the pandemic.
