New Delhi: In view of the fast growing Corona infection in the country, the Government of India has decided to extend Unlock-2 by 31 July. Actually, the period of Unlock-1 expires on 30 June. Unlock-2 has been announced with this.

The Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India has issued a guideline for ‘Unlock-2’ which remains in force till 31 July. There is a clear mention in the guidelines issued by the central government that as before, people have to strictly follow the night curfew to avoid corona. The Indian government has said that the night curfew will continue from 10 in the night to 5 in the morning. During this time people have to stay in their homes.

Important points of the guidelines issued by the Central Government-

  • According to the new guidelines of the Central Government, schools and colleges across the country will remain closed till 31 July.
  • Apart from this, it has been decided to remain closed till 31 July, Metro Rail, Cinema Hall, Gym, Swimming Pool etc.
  • Allowing only necessary work in the Containment Zone.
  • Social / political / sports / entertainment / educational / cultural / religious work and other large gatherings are prohibited during this period.
  • Domestic flights and passenger trains are already permitted in a limited manner. Their operations will be expanded more elaborately as needed
  • States / UTs can also identify containers and buffer zones where new cases are more likely to occur. Within the buffer zone, restrictions are considered necessary that may be imposed by district officials.
