Jaipur: Political crisis continues in Rajasthan. The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan has constituted the SIT to investigate the audio tape case. This SIT team will be headed by SP Vikas Sharma of CID Crime Branch. The SIT will also have SP level officers of Anti Corruption Bureau, Special Operation Group and Anti Terrorist Squad.
The audio clip case is registered with the Rajasthan Police Special Task Force (SOG). In the state assembly, two FIRs were registered in this regard on the complaint of Congress chief whip Mahesh Joshi. SOG has arrested a person named Sanjay Sharma in this case. He is in police remand.
Assembly session can be started in Rajasthan amidst political crisis. India Today has been quoted by sources as saying, Assembly session can be called from 22 July. Here Sachin Pilot and Congress 18 rebel MLAs have filed a petition in the Rajasthan High Court against the disqualification notice. On which the hearing is to be held on Monday, July 20.
