Lucknow: Former Governor of Madhya Pradesh and former MP of Lucknow Lal G. Tandon died this morning. Lal G. Tandon was 85 years old. He was undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Lucknow since 12 June. The last few days were very bad.
Lal Ji Tandon also had a long relationship with BJP and RSS. He was considered a leader with a very normal lifestyle. Lal G. Tandon was also the architect of the BJP BSP government in Uttar Pradesh. He also served as a minister in Kalyan Singh government and Mayawati government.
Lal ji Tandon’s death was reported by his son Ashutosh Tandon. Ashutosh Tandon is the minister for urban development, urban overall development, urban employment and poverty alleviation in the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh.
MP from Lucknow and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have also tweeted and mourned. He wrote, “Tandanji, very sociable by nature, was also very popular among the activists. People of Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh still appreciate the development work done by them in various positions. May God provide patience and strength to all bereaved families in this hour of grief. Om Shanti! ”
