Today the number of corona infects in Meerut has crossed 1800. Two people died of corona infection in the city, while 36 new patients were confirmed.
According to the report of the Health Department, 2394 samples were tested today, out of which 36 reported positive, thus the total number of corona patients in the city has increased to 1810. There are 383 active cases while 1342 people have been discharged after treatment.
After the death of two corona-infected people in the city today, the death toll from this epidemic has risen to 85. Today, a 70-year-old man from Kunda village admitted to LLRM hospital broke his heart and the second death was of a 65-year-old woman living near the glass temple.
Today 2457 samples have been sent for testing in Meerut while the test report of 781 samples is awaited. According to the report, 73403 samples have been tested so far, of which 70812 reports have been negative.
