Lucknow: There is a preparation to seal Ayodhya from all sides due to the arrival of the Prime Minister. For this, the arrangements made in the past on all the routes of entry into Faizabad city including Ayodhya are being monitored. No one will be allowed to enter Ayodhya from the eve of the main event. At the same time, plans are being made to give VVIP people coming from the road via Lucknow to Ayodhya from Sahadatganj.
Along with this, nodal officers have already been appointed in the neighboring districts of Ayodhya district Basti, Gonda, Ambedkaranagar, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Amethi etc. Under his supervision, the police of these districts will keep a close watch on the border. At the same time, PAC, Water Police is being deployed to keep a close watch on the waterways.
From the evening of August 4, entry into Ayodhya can be restricted. For this, earlier arrangements on all routes are being re-monitored.
Major routes of entry into Ayodhya are the preparation for sealing barricades including Jalpa Devi Chauraha, Mohabra Bypass, Booth Number Four, Ram Ghat, Saket Petrol Pump, Bandha Tiraha, Hanuman gufa, and other small routes. Apart from this, additional security personnel will be searched on the highway by deploying additional security personnel on the barricading.
On the arrival of PM to Ayodhya on 5 August, Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi, ADG Zone and ADG Law and Order visited Hanumangarhi, Ramlala in Ayodhya and also inspected the Prime Minister’s helipad site being built in Saket College. Additional Chief Secretary Home took review of security of Bhumi Pujan as well as security. District Inspector Anuj Kumar Jha, Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar, Inspector General of Police Sanjeev Gupta and officers were present during the inspection.
