New Delhi: The Ministry of Defence has written to the Central Board of Film Certification and the IB Ministry, saying that now before the broadcast of any kind of film, documentary or web series on any military or military related issues, etc. It is mandatory to get the permission of the Ministry.
In fact, in the past, many such films and web series were made on the army, which caused much controversy. This is the reason why the Ministry of Defense is considering giving permission to the army after examining any disputed film etc. So that the image of the army is not tarnished and at the same time the morale of the security forces is not affected in any way. A letter has been written to the concerned Ministry and Department for action in this regard.
Let me tell you that producer Ekta Kapoor has been in the news for the controversial web series on the Army for some time. Actually Bigg Boss fame Hindustani Bhau has made a police complaint against Ekta and her production house.
Bhau has made this complaint in a web series of ALT Balaji for insulting the army uniform. In the series, a woman is shown cheating on her husband. In this sequence, the woman is not only tearing down the army uniform but has also shown many objectionable scenes with her.
