New Delhi: India on Friday raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir in the United Nations General Assembly and retaliated against Pakistan, saying Islamabad once again repeated lies and carried out personal attacks. Terrorism is Pakistan’s only pride in 70 years.
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador TS Tirumurthy tweeted, “Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s statement is another diplomacy fallout. There is another bundle of lies, personal attacks and atrocities on Pakistan’s minorities and an attempt to hide cross-border terrorism. ”
In the United Nations, Pakistan’s strong words from Kashmir to India were said, ‘Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inseparable part of India. The rules and laws brought in Jammu and Kashmir are internal affairs of India.
In the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in his pre-recorded video address mentioned India’s internal affairs including Jammu and Kashmir. Imran Khan had said, ‘Pakistan has always been in favor of finding a solution in a peaceful manner. For this, India should re-implement the ongoing measures before August 5, 2019 and end the military siege and other human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir. ‘
Responding to the Pakistani PM, India said, “The only dispute left in Kashmir pertains to that part of Kashmir which is still under illegal occupation of Pakistan.” We call upon Pakistan to vacate all the areas where it is under illegal occupation.
Let me tell you that when Imran Khan’s address mentioned India, the first secretary of the Permanent Mission of India at the United Nations, Mizito Vinito had walked out of the General Assembly Hall.
