New Delhi: Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who have been adamant on meeting the victim’s family in connection with the case of a rape with a Dalit woman in Hathras, UP, have been stopped by the UP Police on DND. A large number of party workers are standing on the DND with Congress leaders. During this time, the police has allowed Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to enter UP. Police administration says that five people including Rahul and Priyanka have been allowed to go to Hathras. After a long uproar, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were allowed to go ahead of the DND.
It is being told that the administration has given permission to Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to visit Hathras and meet the victim’s family on certain conditions, including masking and following other protocols related to Corona. After getting permission from the administration, Rahul Gandhi’s car will now move forward.
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi explained to the hundreds of congress workers on DND that the police had allowed him to go to Hathras. But the workers did not move, then the UP police lathi-charged.
Many Congress workers have been injured in this lathicharge. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra herself went to pick up the worker lying on the ground. Delhi Pradesh Congress President Anil Chaudhary told that the police have also beaten Priyanka ji.
